WEDDINGS
I can help you to celebrate your love for each other in any of the delightful places that our region has to offer. Your celebration can be on the reef, under a rainforest canopy, on a secluded beach or island, or in any of the special restaurants and resorts in this area. There are also some very pretty non-denominational chapels. Regardless of the number of guests or the formality of the occasion, this is a special day that can be celebrated in a way of your choosing. INDIVIDUALITY
Your wedding ceremony should be just that – yours. I will assist you with the wording for vows, ring giving ceremonies, readings, etc so that the ceremony reflects your own personalities, family and cultural traditions and style . The time spent checking all the details with you helps to ensure your ceremony goes smoothly . I also ensure that my dress, colour and style complements your wedding party. LEGAL PROCEDURE
The first legal requirement is that a ‘Notice of Intended Marriage’ must be lodged with your Celebrant a minimum of one clear calendar month prior to the date of your marriage. I need to see an original birth certificate for each of you if you are Australian citizens, or a current passport if you were born overseas and do not have your birth certificate. I also require evidence of termination of any previous marriage, or of a change of name. INTERSTATE OR OVERSEAS COUPLES
Many couples come from overseas and do not arrive here until a few days before the wedding. However, all the legal procedures and ceremony details can be worked out via email and the necessary paperwork can be signed overseas or in other states before arrival. Palm Cove itself offers a perfect place for a wedding and there are restaurants, accommodation and a chapel all within walking distance of the beach. My fee for a ceremony is $400 and includes the following:

Unlimited time spent with you to plan and if necessary to rehearse your ceremony.
- All necessary paperwork to lodge and register the marriage with the Department of Births, Deaths & Marriages.

Presentation Marriage Certificate.

A personalized copy of your ceremony as a memento of your special occasion.

A public address system to ensure that your guests can all hear the ceremony, whether it is indoors or out and an Ipod with mini speakers if music is required for a small group (30).

I ask for a lodgment fee of $100 to confirm your booking and hold the space in my diary, with the remaining $300 due prior to your ceremony.

If there are special requests or lengthy travel times there may be a further charge.
